Summit group presents thermal scanners to the Health Ministry

The thermal scanners would help in correct identification of passengers with fever, which is one of the major symptoms of coronavirus or COVID-19 and enable better coordination with airport and public health professionals for quarantine

Summit Group, country's largest infrastructure conglomerate, has recently presented five world-class Thermal Scanners to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFA) for effectively and speedily identifying body temperatures of the passengers at international airports in Bangladesh.

The thermal scanners would help in correct identification of passengers with fever, which is one of the major symptoms of coronavirus or COVID-19 and enable better coordination with airport and public health professionals for quarantine.

"We, at Summit, are most grateful for the opportunity to be of service by providing world class thermal scanners during this crisis," Muhammed Aziz Khan, Chairman of Summit Group said.

Summit group is also sponsoring two officials from Singapore to help install the thermal scanners.

The Minister of MoHFA Zahid Maleque, MP received the thermal scanners from Mohammed Latif Khan, Vice-Chairman of Summit Group where Directors of Summit Group Azeeza Aziz Khan, Fadiah Khan and Salman Khan were also present along with senior government officials.
