Sub-registry offices collect Tk690cr revenue in July
In June, the sub-registry offices across the country collected Tk529.81 crore as revenue

Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, the Directorate of Registration under the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs has collected Tk690 crore as revenue in July.
Inspector General of Registration Shahidul Alam Jhinuk sent a letter to the Law and Justice Ministry on Tuesday about the matter.
According to the letter, sub-registry offices have completed registrations 271,657 documents and collected Tk689.66 crore in the period, which is Tk160 crore more than the amount collected in June.
In June, the sub-registry offices across the country collected Tk529.81 crore as revenue.
Dhaka district earned maximum revenue of Tk175.95 crore in July; followed by Chattogram (Tk49.03 crore), Narayanganj (Tk39.21 crore), Gazipur (Tk35.81 crore), Cumilla (Tk23.91 crore) and Mymensingh (Tk20.93 crore), it added.
"The officials and employees of the department are performing their duties with dedication despite the coronavirus situation," Shahidul Alam Jhinuk said in the letter.
The letter also stated that 50 officials of district registry and sub-registry offices were tested positive with Covid-19 in July. All of them have recovered.
