State minister of labour to join ILO governing body meeting
Munnujan on November 5 will present Bangladesh’s progress during the mid-term report presentation session of ILO’s proper workplace environment programme implementation
Begum Munnujan Sufian, state minister for labour and employment, is going to Geneva today to join the 337th governing body meeting of the International Labour Organization(ILO).
Being an important member of the governing body, Munnujan on November 5 will present Bangladesh's progress during the mid-term report presentation session of ILO's proper workplace environment programme implementation.
Begum Sufian will lead the 14-member delegation. M Shamim Ahsan, Bangladeshi high commissioner in Switzerland and the permanent representative of Bangladesh to the United States in Geneva, K M Ali, secretary at labour and employment ministry and other representatives from foreign affairs and trade ministry will join the meeting.
The meeting that started on October 28 will end on November 7. The state minister is expected to return on November 8.
