Shwapno-CMP organises ‘Shop with Cop’ for street children
The event was organised at Golpahar outlet of Shwapno at the port city and food items were distributed to 60 street children
Shwapno, the leading super shop in Bangladesh, and Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) organised an event titled "Shop with Cop" and distributed essential food items to street children in Chattogram on Wednesday.
The event was organised at Golpahar outlet of Shwapno at the port city and food items were distributed to 60 street children who grow up unnoticed and neglected in the society and cannot even dream about buying anything from a super shop, reads a press release.
Shamsuddoha Shemul, director of retail expansion, Shwapno, said, "Shwapno has always stood by the disadvantaged people of the country. Shwapno is working for a beautiful childhood and future for the less fortunate children. As part of it, we are happy to help the street children in Chattogram."
Sohel Moinuddin Shoibal, head of corporate affairs and employee welfare at Shwapno, CMP Commissioner Saleh Mohammad Tanvir, PPM, Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Vijay Basak, BPM, PPM (Bar), Additional Deputy Commissioner (North) Nadira Noor were present amongst others at the event.
It might be mentioned that, to be on a par with the commitment of Mujib Borsho – Mujib Borsher Ongikar, Police Hobe Janatar – CMP arranged this event to fulfil the wishes of the underprivileged children of the society with the help of Shwapno.
Shwapno was also with the Bangladesh Police at the well-known restaurant "Barcode" and the service organisation "Jatri Chhauni".
