Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant launches website for public inquiries

Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant, the first nuclear powered power plant of Bangladesh recently launched a website for public inquiries.

The nuclear power plant in Rooppur, Ishwardi in Pabna district is going to contribute in Bangladesh's pursuit of being a country with versatile sources of energy having zero energy deficits, a press release says.

The website is run by the 'Public Information Center on Nuclear' in Ishwardi which is soon to be inaugurated. This information center is supervised and operated by a Russian non-profit organization "Energy of the Future".

It is to be mentioned that they run another information center in Dhaka; 'Information Center on Nuclear Energy' which is located in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Novotheatre.

Both 'Information Center on Nuclear Energy' and 'Public Information Center on Nuclear' are working to promote the many uses of nuclear energy that helps humanity, the press release said.
