Bangladesh Railway is set to resume all the intercity train services in phases from August 15 after a long suspension due to Covid-19 pandemic.

A public relations officer named Sharif of the Ministry of Railways confirmed the matter to The Business Standard.

On March 24, Bangladesh government suspended train services, all public transports and inland waterway services across the country to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus.
