The room of Dhaka University Central Student Union (DUCSU) Vice President Nurul Haq Nur was locked today by a fraction of the Muktijuddha Mancha, a platform comprising descendants of freedom fighters.

A group led by Mijanur Rahman Pikul, president of one fraction of the organisation, put a lock on the room this morning.

Talking to The Business Standard, Pikul said the leaked audio clip proved that Nur is a corrupt.

A conversation between the DUCSU VP and an expatriate Bangladeshi over monetary contract was leaked on a private channel on December 3.

In the audio clip the expatriate asked VP Nur to send bank account number along with an e-mail address.

Contacted, Nur acknowledged that it was his voice but claimed that the television channel has aired his audio partly aiming to create a negative image on his fame.
