DU Shibir publishes full list of 14-member committee

The Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir, student wing of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, has published the full list of its Dhaka University unit committee.
The committee includes 14 members, including Md Abu Shadik as president.

Other members of the committee are: Secretary SM Farhad Organising Secretary Mohiuddin Khan, Publicity and Media Secretary Hossain Ahmad Jubaer, Student Movement and Human Resource Affairs Secretary Md Mazharul Islam, Office Secretary Imran Hossain, Treasury Secretary Alauddin Abid, Dawah and Student Welfare Secretary Hamidur Rashid Jamil, Literature, Culture and Publication Secretary Nurul Islam Noor, Science and Sports Secretary Md Iqbal Haider, Education and Research Secretary Md Anis Mahmud, Law and Human Rights Affairs Secretary Reyazul Mia, Business Education and International Affairs Secretary Md Yasir, and Skill Development Secretary Abdullah Al Mamun.
The full list of Shibir's DU committee has been published just a week and a half after Shadik came out as president followed by Farhad as secretary, marking the organisation's first public activities in some 15 years during the Awami League regime.

Following the fall of the AL-led government on 5 August, Shibir activists began to come out in the open.
The revelation of DU Shibir committee president and secretary sparked discussions and debates on social media platforms with many pointing out that Farhad previously held posts at DU's Chhatra League committee.
