BNP has announced to hold demonstration in every thana of the capital on Tuesday demanding revocation results of the two city corporations polls and release of their party chairperson Khaleda Zia from jail.

The party Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir declared the programme at a press conference held in the capital today.

Earlier on Saturday, BNP called hartal in the capital protesting "irregularities" in the city corporation elections that elected Atiqul Islam and Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh as mayors of Dhaka North and South City Corporations respectively the same day.
