BNP extends ongoing anti-govt programmes to 5 October

The BNP has brought some changes to the ongoing anti-government programmes extending its duration to 5 October.

As per the new decision, the party will hold nationwide rallies on Sunday to demand Khaleda Zia's release and treatment abroad.

BNP announced the changes during a press conference at the party chairperson's office in Gulshan on Thursday (21 September).

BNP started a 15-day programme on Tuesday demanding the resignation of the government, dissolution of parliament, reinstatement of a caretaker government system and the release of party chief Khaleda Zia.

Apart from this, a road march in Faridpur has been scheduled for 3 October in the revised plan.

Besides, the party deferred the rally of professionals slated for 26 September to 4 September.
