PM reiterates firm faith on global peace on UN’s 75th anniversary
PM also expressed her wariness as “rise of hate speech, xenophobia, and intolerance are creating scope for unrest”

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has reiterated her firm conviction to global peace, justice and harmony through upholding the values and principles enshrined in the United Nations Charter marking the 75th anniversary of the United Nations (UN).
"Our flagship resolution on the Culture of Peace at the UN is a testimony to our unflinching support to the cause of global peace. Our peace-centric foreign policy has promoted us to emerge as one of the leaders in the United Nations Peacekeeping Operation" said the PM through a press release on September 21.
On the occasion, the premier said, "It is indeed disheartening to see that despite UN Secretary-General's call for a global ceasefire, millions of innocent people including Rohingyas continue to be victims of protected conflicts in many parts of the world".
PM also expressed her wariness as "rise of hate speech, xenophobia, and intolerance are creating scope for unrest."
