Senior journalist Faruk Quazi passes away
He breathed his last at around 8 am at his Elephant Road residence
Faruk Quazi, a veteran journalist and former Chief of Correspondents of United News of Bangladesh (UNB), passed away at his residence on Friday.
He was 71.
He breathed his last in his sleep around 8 am at his Elephant Road residence, his daughter Arshi Quazi told UNB.
Faruk, former President of Law Reporters' Forum (LRF), left behind wife, one daughter and a host of relatives to mourn his death.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Friday expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of senior journalist and PM's former deputy press secretary Faruk Quazi.
