MP Israfil Alam dies
Md Israfil Alam, a member of the 11th parliament from Naogaon-6 constituency, died early this morning.
He breathed his last at 7am while undergoing treatment at Square Hospitals Ltd in the capital, reports Somoy TV.
Israfil Alam's wife Sultana Parveen said, "The MP was on life support. He was tested negative for coronavirus 14 days after being tested positive."

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed deep shock at the death of Israfil Alam.
She prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and expressed sympathy to his bereaved family members.
