Mercantile Bank’s ex-DMD Nurul Alam Chowdhury passes away

Mercantile Bank Limited's Ex-DMD and a prominent banker, Nurul Alam Chowdhury, passed away at the age of 74 on Sunday at 6:30am at a hospital in Dhaka.

Board of Directors and Management of Mercantile Bank remember his unparallel contribution to build, develop and progress of the bank from its inception.

The board of directors, all executives, officers and employees of the bank expressed deep mourn and condolences for the death of Nurul Alam Chowdhury.

He left his wife, sons, daughters along with many relatives and well wishers.

First namaje janaja of Nurul Alam Chowdhury took place in capital's Gulshan Central Mosque after Asar prayer and then he was taken to his village at Sitakundu.

After the second namaje janaja he is supposed to be buried in their family graveyard on Monday.
