Industrialist Rezakul Haider, chairman of the board of directors of Islamic Finance and Investment Limited (IFIL), passed away on Friday.

He was the founding member & present chairman of the Youth Group.

Rezakul Haider acted as the chairman of Youth Fashion Ltd, Youth Garments, Petromax LPG Ltd, Petromax Cylinder Ltd, Comfit Composite Knit Ltd, Sahajibazar Power Co Ltd, and the vice-chairman of Zenith Islami Life Insurance Ltd.

He was also the director of Midland Power Ltd, Midland East Power Ltd, and the former chairman of the Eastern University Board of Trustees.

He was involved in the establishment of `Sarnadwip Foundation Hospital' in Sandwip for providing health services to general people.    

The Board of Directors, Sponsors, Executives, Officers, and Staff of IFIL deeply mourned his demise and expressed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
