Another doctor dies of Covid-19 in Dhaka
He served as the director of the management committee at Labaid Hospital

The chief cardiac anesthesiologist at Labaid Hospital in the capital has died of Covid-19. He was 65.
Dr Md Mahbubul Islam, who was a member of the Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA), died while undergoing treatment at the intensive care unit of Labaid Hospital around 4:37am Monday, reads a press release.
He served as the director of the management committee at the hospital. He was a student of the 4th batch at Sir Salimullah Medical College.
BMA President Dr Mustafa Jalal Mohiuddinand General Secretary Md Ehteshamul Huq Choudhury expressed deep shock at the demise of the doctor.
With Mahbubul's death, 149 doctors and three dental surgeons have died of Covid-19 in the country so far.
