Bangladesh Navy distributed Eid gifts among the orphans on Friday in Khulna, marking the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, according to a press release.

The Navy members distributed new clothes among the children of Sarkari Shishu Poribar (boys) in Maheswarpasa and Sarkari Shishu Poribar (girls) at South Central Road in Khulna.

Besides, 800 boys and 800 girls of 36 madrasahs already have received Eid gifts, arranged by Khulna naval area commander, says the press release.

As part of the gifts, the boys received punjabi, trousers and tupi (cap), while it was a salwar, kamiz and a hijab for the girls, it adds.
