Nafeez Al Tarik returns as CEO of Asian Tiger Capital Partners

Md Nafeez Al Tarik has returned as the managing director and chief executive officer of Asian Tiger Capital Partners Asset Management Limited.

In February 2017, he joined City Brokerage Ltd as the head of research and investment from the position of Chief Investment Officer at the Asian Tigers Capital Partners.

He has over eight years of research and investment experience in the equity markets of Bangladesh. He has served clients from many foreign and local institutional investors.

Nafeez, as the chief investment officer of Asian Tigers, was responsible for managing several mutual funds worth around $12 million.

Nafeez, also having experience and expertise in asset-liability management, had worked for the treasury department of Eastern Bank Limited and as an assistant vice-president in Royal Bengal Investment Management Company Limited.

He holds an MBA and a bachelor's degree from the Department of Finance of the University of Dhaka.

Nafeez also achieved CFA charter from USA-based CFA Institute and he used to serve as director at CFA Society Bangladesh.  

The renowned mentor of dozens of finance students and young investment professionals is a Certified Financial Risk Manager too.

The Asian Tigers is the industry-champion in terms of dividend yield of managed mutual funds.

Dividend yield is the ratio that divides annual cash dividend from securities by its market price and investors prefer securities with a higher dividend yield.
