River Police arrested owner of the "MV Moyur" early today over the "Morning Bird" accident in the Buriganga River that killed 32.

The arrestee - Mosaddek Sayed - is the main accused of the case filed over the incident.

Rezaul Karim Bhuiyan, officer-in-charge of Sadarghat Police Station said, "Mosaddek was arrested at around 3am from Dhaka."

Earlier, police arrested Abdus Salam, supervisor of "MV Moyur" launch.

On June 30, police filed case with Keraniganj Police Station against seven people over the incident.

On June 29, at least 32 people were killed when launch "Morning Bird" capsized in the Buriganga River after "MV Moyur" horrifically crashed into it.
