Mujib Year: PM to inaugurate plantation of one crore saplings on July 16
Some 20,325 saplings will be planted in each of the 492 upazilas of the country
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the planting of one crore saplings on the occasion of 'Mujib Year' on July 16.
Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Md Shahab Uddin made the disclosure today.
According to the minister, 20,325 saplings will be planted in each of the 492 upazilas of the country.

The plantation of saplings will be carried on during the tree planting season from July 16 to September 15 in compliance with the health guidelines due to the coronavirus situation, he added.
