The Government has decided to appoint Muhammad Zulqar Nain as the new Ambassador of Bangladesh to Algeria. 

Muhammad Zulqar Nain is currently serving as the Deputy High Commissioner at Bangladesh High Commission in London.

A press release by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday announced Ambassador Muhammad Zulqar Nain's new appointment.

Ambassador designate Muhammad Zulqar Nain is a career foreign service officer belonging to the 17th batch of Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) Foreign Affairs cadre. 

In his distinguished diplomatic career, Zulqar Nain served in various capacities in Bangladesh Missions in Washington DC, Seoul, and Birmingham. At the headquarters, he worked in various capacities in different Wings. 

Muhammad Zulqar Nain obtained his Masters in Diplomacy and Trade from Monash University. He is married and blessed with two children.
