The initiative collected almost 0.2$ million in 3 months and helped more than 0.1 million people during the pandemic.
"It has been nothing short of an inspirational and rewarding journey being a part of Mission Save Bangladesh. The stellar team has worked tirelessly to reach the unmet and unarticulated demands of the unreachable. I am super excited about the future work MSB is planning." stated Sonia Bashir Kabir, executive member of Mission Save Bangladesh.
"We are absolutely honored to receive the prestigious Joy Bangla Youth Award. When we started Mission Save Bangladesh, there were times we got nervous looking at how many people were suffering due to the pandemic. With the support of the brands, partners, and most importantly the prayers of our fellow citizens, we were able to provide support to the ones who needed it. In the upcoming days, Mission Save Bangladesh will work on growing its youth community to serve even a larger crowd", said Tajdin Hassan, the co-founder and president of Mission Save Bangladesh.
"Indeed, Mission Save Bangladesh has been able to bring smiles to a lot of faces. Mission Save Bangladesh will continue to stand beside the people of the country, and will try to bring smiles to more faces. The esteemed Joy Bangla Youth Award is not just for us, it's also for the brands, partners and well-wishers who supported us constantly." stated Imran Kadir, general secretary, Mission Save Bangladesh.
Mission Save Bangladesh was also involved in various community-based activities, such as disinfecting common places and houses, distributing necessary material including hand sanitisers and PPE for doctors.
