The body of an Ideal College student has been recovered after several hours of his going missing while bathing in a waterfall at Reicha area of Bandarban this morning.

The deceased named Tahsan, 19, was in the eleventh grade of the college. Tahsan, son of one Jannatul Baki, hails from the capital's Rampura area.

He was among the group of 132 students who reached Bandarban in a study tour on Tuesday morning.

"We went to a waterfall that is 10 kilometres away from Bandarban town. Tahsan went missing while bathing in the fall. His body was found later. Tahsan's body was taken to Bandarban Sadar Hospital, where doctor declared him dead," said fellow students of the deceased.
