Brac Mitigation programme has revealed the identity of 24 among 26 dead and 11 wounded Bangladeshi migrant workers in Libya, mentioning Bangladesh Embassy in Libya as the source of the list.

The deceased are - Sujon and Kamrul of Gopalganj; Zakir Hossain, Saydul, Juel and Ferooz of Madaripur; Juel and Manik of Rajoir, Madaripur; Asadul, Ainal Molla and Monir of Tekerhat, Madaripur; Sajib and Shaheen of Ehshobpur; Shamim of Dudkhali, Madaripur; Arfan of Dhaka; Lal Chandan of Tangail; Rajon, Shakil, Shakib, Shohag, Akash and Md Ali of Kishoreganj; Rahim of Hossainpur, Kishoreganj and Rakibul of Jashore.
The injured 11 Bangladeshi migrants are -- Ferooz Bepari, Md Ali and Shamrat Khalashi of Madaripur; Md Sajid of Faridpur; Janu Mia, Sajal Mia and Shohag Ahmed of Kishoreganj; Omar Sheikh of Gopalganj; Tarikul Islam of Tangail; Bakul Hossain and Bappi of Chuadanga.
All of the wounded are currently undergoing treatment in Tripoli Medical Center.
The family and associates of a Libyan human trafficker killed 30 migrants in revenge
for his death, Libya's internationally recognised Government of National Accord (GNA) said on Thursday.
The GNA interior ministry said in a statement that 26 Bangladeshi and four African migrants had been killed in the town of Mizda and that 11 injured survivors were taken to a hospital.
