Mahbub Hassan Saleh appointed Bangladesh ambassador to Belgium

The Government has decided to appoint Mr. Mahbub Hassan Saleh as the next Ambassador of Bangladesh to Belgium.

The matter was confirmed by a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday.

Mr. Mahbub Hassan Saleh is currently serving as Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission in the Embassy of Bangladesh in Washington DC, USA.

Ambassador-designate Mr. Saleh is a career diplomat belonging to 15th batch of Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) in Foreign Affairs cadre.

In his 24-year long distinguished diplomatic career, Mr Saleh served in various capacities in Bangladesh Missions in Kolkata, Seoul and Canberra.

He also served as the Deputy High Commissioner in Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi, India.

At the headquarters, he worked in various capacities in different Wings. He represented Bangladesh in several international forums.
