Largest photo exhibition in Cox’s Bazar to celebrate Mujib Year

Ramu Girls High School students and teachers have arranged the largest photo exhibition to commemorate the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in Cox's Bazar on Wednesday.

Cox's Bazar Deputy Commissioner Kamal Hossain inaugurated the event and said, "The students have set a rare example by organising such a glorious exhibition which will allow the new generation to learn about the strong leadership and infinite sacrifices of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman."

Ramu Upazila Executive Officer and Ramu Higher Girls School Board of Directors President Pranoy Chakma said when he told students about organising such an event, they expressed their wish to contribute a portion of their lunch money to collect Bangabandhu's photographs.

The photo exhibition was 1,000 feet long and consisted of 1,000 pictures collected by the students along with teachers.

Ramu Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Chai Thoaila Chowdhury along with many others attended the exhibition that captivated the local and foreign tourists.
