Police found the bullet-hit body of a Jubo League leader at Jadimura area of Teknaf upazila on Thursday night.

The deceased was identified as Omar Faruk, 30, president of ward 9 unit Jubo League.

Pradip Kumar Das, officer-in-charge of Teknaf Police Station, said local people spotted the body and informed the matter to police around 11pm.

Later, police found the body and sent it to local hospital morgue for autopsy.

Osman Goni, elder brother of the Faruk, alleged that a group of Rohingya criminals picked Faruk up from in front of his residence and took him to a nearby hill.
