Indian Army has gifted 10 Mine Detection Dogs (MDDs) to Bangladesh Army as a goodwill gesture.

The dogs were handed over at a ceremonial function at Petrapole-Benapole ICP recently, according to Indian High Commission in Dhaka.

Twenty more MDDs will be gifted to Bangladesh Army in two batches in April 2020 and October 2020, it said.

Bangladesh Army received the MDDs in continuation of enhanced defence cooperation between Bangladesh and India, said the High Commission.
