KAMPS gives free treatment to poor patients in Tangail

Over 2,500 poor patients received free treatment and necessary medicine on February 21 at a Free Medical Camp in Tangail yesterday.

Kidney Awareness Monitoring and Prevention Society (KAMPS), a voluntary healthcare giving organisation, arranged the programme in honour of the language martyrs marking the international mother language day 2020, said a press release. 

A team of more than 50 physicians and technologists, led by the renowned Kidney specialist Prof Dr MA Samad, treated the patients for the day long. 

Patients suffering from various diseases including kidney, heart, liver, guyenne, gastro, diabetes, skin etc received  the treatment. 

A discussion session on how to prevent the kidney disease through changing lifestyle was also held. 

Advocate Joaherul Islam, Member of Parliament from Tangail-8, attended the ceremony as guest chief guest with Deputy Commissioner of the district Md Shahidul Islam in the chair.
