Under the initiative and financing of the Jamuna Bank Foundation, a free eye, gynecological, diabetes and general medical camp was organised at A Majid High School at Begumgonj in Noakhali.
Under this program, overall medical support and services have been provided by Comfort General Hospital & Diabetic Center, reads a press release on Sunday.
A total number of 3105 patients have been given free treatment with medicines and 329 eye patients have been selected for free eye operation through the medical camp, it added.
Mohammad Belayet Hossainl, secretary of Bridges Division under the Road Transport and Bridges Ministry was present as the chief guest on the occasion, while Al-Haj Nur Mohammed, chairman of the Jamuna Bank Foundation presided over it.
Moreover, Mirza Elias Uddin Ahmed, managing director and CEO of Jamuna Bank Limited was present as a special guest.
Mohammad Khorshed Alam Khan, deputy commissione and Md Alamgir Hossain, Police Super of Noakhali were also present as honourable guests, along with Abdus Salam, deputy managing director of Jamuna Bank.
