DHS’s exclusive discounts for BRAC Bank TARA customers

BRAC Bank has signed an agreement with Digital Healthcare Solutions (DHS) to provide special healthcare package to its TARA customers.

Under the agreement DHS, an integrated health company, will offer a customized healthcare package at a special discounted price to BRAC Bank SME TARA Uddokta customers and BRAC Bank Employee Banking (EB) TARA Elite customers, a press statement said.

The customers can avail the discounted healthcare package upon opening EB Elite or TARA Uddokta accounts, it added.

The digital healthcare package includes a yearly cash coverage of taka 40,000 on hospitalization, life insurance worth taka 10,000, free chats and video counseling with doctors, appointment booking facility with more than 1,000 specialist doctors, maternity benefits, special coverage for mothers, up to 35% discount at more than 1,000 partner outlets, and many more.

Andrew Smith, chief commercial officer at DHS, and Mahiul Islam, head of retail banking at BRAC Bank, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

Parvez Ahmad, corporate business lead from DHS, Khondker Emdadul Haq, head of employee banking, BRAC, Shajed Al Haque, senior manager, business transformation, emerging corporate, SME Banking, BRAC were also present during the signing.

The signing ceremony took place on a limited scale, at the head office of BRAC Bank in Dhaka's Tejgaon.
