Flight operations suspended at Rajshahi airport after minor accident

Flight operations have been suspended at the Shah Makhdum Airport in Rajshahi after one of the tyres of a small training aircraft burst while landing Saturday afternoon at around 3pm.
The aircraft belongs to the Galaxy Flying Academy.
Abdul Motin, security supervisor of the airport, confirmed the incident to The Business Standard.
The pilot and his trainer have been rescued from the spot, he said, adding that the flying academy officials were investigating the accident.
The airport is mostly used by domestic flights.
