Mirpur 'Jhutpotti' fire under control
Ten units of fire service are working to douse the blaze
The fire that broke out at "Jhutpotti" in Mirpur-10 in the capital on Saturday afternoon has been brought under control.
Ten units of fire service worked to douse the blaze, said Fire Service Control room duty officer Nazma Akter.
The reason of the fire or extent of damage could not be known immediately.
Earlier on March 11, a massive fire broke out at Rupnagar slum in Mirpur section 11. The fire burned down around 5,000 houses to ashes.
