Ex-PM's adviser Naser Chowdhury, ex-sports secretary Mesbah Uddin arrested

The Detective Branch (DB) of police have arrested Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury, former prime minister's principal secretary and adviser, and Mesbah Uddin, former secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The Dhaka Metropolitan Police's (DMP) Detective Branch placed them under arrest in the early hours on Wednesday (2 October) after separate raids in the capital, said Deputy Commissioner of the media and public relations of DB Talebur Rahman.
"We arrested Naser Chowdhury from the Dhanmondi area," he said.

All of them were arrested in connection with specific charges, and they would be produced before the court today, he added.
