Acting Chairman of Jatiya Party GM Quader on Monday said that HM Ershad’s health condition has remained unchanged, but he is not not out of danger yet.
Quader came up with the remark at a press briefing at Jatiya Party chairman's Banani office at around 12 pm Monday.
Doctors giving him fluid through veins, he added.
Ershad’s body did not form clots as he doesn’t have enough platelets in his blood, GM Quader further said.
Earlier on July 4, the 89-year old former military ruler was put on life support.
Ershad, also the leader of the opposition in parliament, was admitted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka on June 26 as his condition deteriorated.
He has been suffering from various old age complications including low hemoglobin, liver problem, high bilirubin and serious knee pain.
