A survey by a government institution says 88% of customers have expressed satisfaction with the country's electricity services.
Infrastructure Investment Facilitation Company (IIFC) conducted the survey online among 1,400 customers, reports the daily Prothom Alo.
Responding to questions about power connection services, 94% of customers said they were happy with the services while 77% said the same for receiving services after filing complaints.
Besides, 95% were happy with billing services and 88% with metering. Satisfaction on average stood at 88%.
The findings were revealed on Saturday at a programme on a draft presentation of the survey.
Presiding over the programme, State Minister for Power Nasrul Hamid said 100% customer satisfaction has to be achieved and he does not want to receive any complaints from customers.
He said many problems would be resolved automatically if connection with customers is improved.
Power distribution companies have to maintain regular contact with customers, he added.
