Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) has been ranked 347 position in the Engineering and Technology section of QS World University Rankings by Subject 2021.

This year's ranking of Buet, one of the leading universities of Bangladesh, is out of 4275 contesting institutions.  

This ranking is as per the QS system.

Last year, Buet was in the 401-450 band.

Besides, the University of Dhaka has been ranked 451-500 in Social Sciences & Management.

QS Ranking ranges between 1 and 1000.

Academic credibility, employer reputation, research impact (citations per paper), and the productivity of an institution's research faculty are used to measure performance in the QS World University Rankings by subject.

Meanwhile, twelve Indian institutes are among the top 100 in QS World University Ranking this year.
