Online application for DU admission test to kick off 8 March
The exams will be held in eight divisional cities this year
The online application process for Dhaka University (DU) admission test for the 2020-2021 academic year will begin at 4 pm on 8 March and will continue till 11:59 pm on 31 March.
The exams will be held in eight divisional cities this year.
The decisions were taken on Thursday at a meeting of the General Admission Committee on honours admission headed by Vice Chancellor Prof Md Akhtaruzzaman, said a DU press release.
As per the decision of the meeting, the admission test for DU's 'Ka' (A) unit will take place on 21 May, Kha' (B) unit on 22 May, 'Ga' (C) unit on 27 May, 'Gha' (D) unit on 28 May and 'Cha' (E) unit on 5 June.
The tests will begin at 11:00 am each day and will end at 12:30 pm spanning 1 hour and 30 minutes.
All the examinees will have to answer MCQ of 60 marks and written test of 40 marks except the examinees of 'Cha' unit who have to answer MCQ of 40 marks and written test of 60 marks.
The minimum qualifications of the applicants are: GPA 3.5 for 'Ka' unit, GPA 3.0 for 'Kha' unit, GPA 3.5 for 'Ga' unit, GPA 3.0 for 'Gha' unit and GPA 3.0 for 'Cha' unit in the secondary or equivalent and higher secondary or equivalent examinations separately
