HULT Prize Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University (MBSTU) has launched a competition "Go for Goals."
For the competition, a competitor must choose two goals out of 17, from the Sustainable Development Goals, and create a three-minute video about overcoming the post-pandemic situation, read a press release
The video can be submitted till 11:59:59 PM on August 20, 2020. The prize for the competition is 15 dollars.
For that, a three-day orientation session of HULT Prize MBSTU's 2020-21 on-campus programme was held recently. All the sessions were livecast on Facebook from a Zoom meeting.
Founder of Turtle Venture Saraban Tahura Turin and Regional Analyst of HULT Prize Asia Fedi Regaieg graced the second session held on August 14, hosted by HULT Prize MBSTU campus director Mehenaz Zaman; while founder of Ignite Youth Foundation Muhammod Jahirul Islam and the champion of Youth Fest award Mursalin Shah Salin graced the third session held on August 16, hosted by Kashif Ahmed.
Turin talked about "Communication and Management on Digital Platforms" and Fedi shared about his journey and experience with the HULT Prize.
Jahirul talked about "Communication and Networking in the Corporate Field" and Salin talked about "Team Building and Skill Development."
"Mechanic Koi?" was the technical partner of this three day long orientation and grooming session while youthnews24bd.com was the media partner.
Last year, a huge number of participants from MBSTU joined the campus program of the HULT Prize Campaign and the winning team got to participate in the regional summit.
Every year, the HULT Prize competition is held based on different subjects where a team can submit their idea about a challenge. Former US President Bill Clinton determines the challenges based on problems on Earth and more than ten million teams from around the world participate in this challenge.
The winner gets one million dollars in prize money to turn their idea into a successful business.
