The government has issued urgent instructions regarding the reopening of educational institutions on 30 March.

As per the pre-announced decision, all government and non-government primary, secondary and higher secondary educational institutions at a general level, colleges, madrasas and technical level will be opened on the way.

The Department of Technical Education and Madrasah Education Division of the Ministry of Education issued instructions which were decided in the inter-ministerial meeting in this regard on Sunday night, reports Somoy News.

As per the instructions, the teacher and staff associated with the educational institutions have to be vaccinated before reopening on 30 March.

After the opening of the educational institutions, examinations will be taken after 80 working days for SSC students and 80 working days for HSC students on a short syllabus.

Besides, field level officials of the Ministry of Health and Family affairs will inspect each educational institution and monitor compliance with health protection.

The decision for reopening education institutions was taken at an inter-ministerial meeting of the Education Ministry on 27 February.
