All educational institutions will remain closed till May 5 in accordance with the extension of general holiday announced by the government.
A press release from the ministry signed by the Senior Information Officer Abul Khair disclosed the matter today.
"The holiday for educational institutions will be adjusted by considering the situation after the general holiday ends," the press release reads.
Earlier, the ministry said the educational institutions would remain closed till April 25 to curb the spread of novel coronavirus in the country.
Bangladesh today confirmed seven more deaths from the novel coronavirus and 414 new cases of infection after testing 3,416 samples in the last 24 hours.
With this, the death toll from the deadly virus has risen to 127 and the number of total infected person stands at 4,186.
