CUET campus committee formed for HULT Prize 2021
CUET has been hosting Hult Prize campus rounds since 2017

Management for the HULT Prize-2021 at the Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) has formed a committee at the campus.
Shihab Ar Rasad has been elected as the campus director, Maliha Jahan Chowdhury and Soummo Swaraj as the directors of judges management; Khandaker Sabrina Sahim and Sabitri Sikdar as the directors of program management, Md Hasibul Islam and Subayer Islam as the directors of finance and corporate affairs.
Besides, Abrar Ahmed Chowdhury has been elected as the director of public relations, Gourab Saha and Khondoker Jubayer Rahman as the directors of branding and promotion, Md Taki Tajwar and Hasan Mohammad Niaz as the directors of publication and media Management; Hosen Md Imran as the director of graphics design and Shafin Hasnat have been selected as the director of IT management.
CUET has been hosting Hult Prize campus rounds since 2017, this year the participants have to submit their business ideas on the subject "Food for Good."
"We want to organise the program at the end of October. However, if it is not possible to do it on-Campus due to coronavirus, so we have planned to arrange the program Off-Campus-- online," said Shihab Ar Rasad, campus director.
He further said, "The 2021 challenge is "Food for Good" with the slogan "Transforming food into a vehicle for change."
The champion team from CUET campus round will be awarded Tk10,000 and will be competing in the regional round.
Six teams from different universities will be selected from the regional round to participate in the final round held at the United Nations headquarters.
The winning team will get $1 million to establish its startup. In 2017, CUET secured a place in the top 20 among 660 universities in the regional round held in Malaysia.
