Universities around the globe offer free scholarships to foreign students to study for free as many of them go abroad for higher education. This article will talk about six such scholarships which will not cost the student a penny.

• Hamad Bin Khalifa University Scholarship in Qatar

Students from any country in the world can apply for this scholarship. This year, applications for undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD can be made at this university located in Doha. IELTS or TOEFL is not required for this scholarship. Qatari students, along with students from other parts of the world, can also apply for the Hamad Bin Khalifa University Scholarship. Candidates will have to apply for this scholarship by February 1 this year. However, Qatari students will have a few more days to apply.

Candidates will get accommodation, 5000 Qatari Riyals and air tickets along with this scholarship to study for graduation and SS. Money will increase in the case of PhD. Applicants will receive 7,500 Qatari Riyals with accommodation and air tickets. There are also opportunities for married people to live with a family.

• Islamic Development Bank Scholarship

Islamic Development Bank has called on applications for this year's scholarship. The Islamic Development Bank Scholarship is one of the largest scholarships in the world for free undergraduate, masters, PhD and post-doctoral research programs. One of the most funded scholarships for vocational education is the IsDB Scholarship. There is no fee for applying for this scholarship.

• Cambridge Gates Scholarship in the United Kingdom

The University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom offers various scholarships. Gates Cambridge University Scholarship is being offered by  one of the oldest universities in the world for this year. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation funds the scholarship. Many foreign students from around the world receive scholarships from the foundation, named after Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates and his wife Melinder. Scholarships are given for Diploma, Masters and PhD. Those interested can apply for this scholarship till the last day of this month.

If a student receives this scholarship, they will get 17,500 pounds a year. With this, some students will get round trip tickets. Depending on the course, many will get 500 to 2,000 pounds again based on courses. Candidates will also get visa and health insurance benefits. 

There are facilities for married people. They will get 10,120 pounds a year for their  first child. And for the second child they will get 4,320 pounds. • Saskatchewan Scholarship from Canada

The University of Saskatchewan in Canada has announced scholarships. Scholarships will be given for MS and doctoral degrees. Anyone from all over the world can apply for this scholarship. Students from Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) countries can apply for undergraduate, master's and PhD degrees. Candidates can apply for this scholarship till February 28. IELTS and TOEFL will not be required for the scholarship application of the Government of Azerbaijan.
