Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner Khandker Golam Faruq has been sent on retirement upon completion of his tenure in a government position.
The Public Security Division issued a notification to this effect on Sunday (24 September).
Khandker Golam Faruq will turn 59 on 30 September, which is the retirement age for government job holders in Bangladesh.
