Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-12 on Thursday distributed food relief to the flood-hit people of Bogura's Sariakandi upazila.
In addition to dry food, they also gave jars of drinking water to 100 flood-affected families.
Shahed Zaman Pramanik, 68, who came to get the food relief, said: "I have run out of money as there is no work because of the flood. And I badly needed this support."
Lieutenant Colonel Khairul Islam, commander of RAB-12, said: "Besides different initiatives of the government, RAB supports the helpless and vulnerable people, at different times, as part of its social responsibility."
