One of the detainees confessed to being involved in the trafficking of more than 1,000 women

A teenage girl, who was trafficked to India, has escaped from three months of torture and captivity and filed a case with Hatirjheel police station after returning to the country. 

Three accused involved in the incident, have been arrested from Satkhira border area, according to police source. 

One of the detainees confessed to being involved in the trafficking of more than 1,000 women.

The media briefing will be held at office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Tejgaon Division) at 9.50 am.
