Rangamati BNP leader’s body recovered
He had been abducted by armed miscreants on October 22 from the Zero Mile area of the upazila, police report said.

Police have recovered the body of Rangamati BNP vice-president and headman Dipamoy Talukdar this morning in Rajasthali upazila of Rangamati.
Rajasthali police station Officer-in-Charge Omar Faruk said the deceased had been shot several times in the head and the body had been hacked with sharp weapons.
Dipamoy Talukdar was the Headman of Ghilachhari mouza (small administrative district) of Rajasthali and former chairman of Gainda Union Parishad.
He had been abducted by armed miscreants on October 22 from the Zero Mile area of the upazila, police report said.
Rajasthali OC Omar Faruk confirmed the matter to The Business Standard, saying, "Local people contacted us this morning after Dipamoy's gunshot-wounded body was discovered in the woods in Taitang Para of the union."
Preparations are underway to send Dipamoy's body for autopsy.
Meanwhile, local people and businessmen brought out a protest rally around 8:30am in Rajasthali, demanding punishment to the miscreants involved with Dipamoy's murder.

They also announced that Rajasthali market will remain closed indefinitely until their demand is met.
