Every piece of info found in Sinha’s murder being investigated: RAB chief

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) Director General (DG) Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun has said every piece of information is being analysed for a thorough investigation into the murder of retired Army major Sinha Md Rashed Khan.

However, he expressed his inability to explain everything in the interest of the probe.

The RAB chief was talking to reporters after visiting Shamlapur area in Baharchhara union on the Cox's Bazar Marine Drive where police shot Sinha to death on July 31.

Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun visited the site on Monday afternoon by helicopter. Lt Col Ashik Billah, director (legal and media wing) of RAB and officials of different ranks along were also present at the time.

At the spot, he spoke to local people and several eyewitnesses to Sinha's murder.

Lt Col Ashik Billah, director (legal and media wing) of RAB held a press conference at "Jol Tarango" of Army Welfare Trust Rest House of Cox's Bazar on the Baliari beach at 8pm today.

Responding to a question from reporters, Ashik Billah said it was a personal matter of Shipra Debnath for her picture to go viral on social media and that they had no comment on this at that time.
