International Crimes Tribunal will deliver verdict tomorrow in a case against five men of Gaibandha for their alleged involvement in crimes against humanity during the Liberation War.

The 3-member tribunal, led by Justice Md Shahinur Islam, fixed the date today.

The case was filed against six men.

The six accused were -- Md Ronju Mia, 71, Abdul Jabbar, 86, Md Jafijar Rahman Khoka, 64, Md Abdul Wahed Mondol, 62, Md Momtaz Ali Bepari, 68, and Md Ajgar Hossen Khan, 66 -- all hailed from Gaibandha's Nandina and Fulbari villages and were active members of Jamat, said the tribunal sources.

Of them, Ronju Mia is behind the bars, Ajgar Hossen Khan died while the rest four men are absconding.

All the accused were framed with the charges including genocide, rape, kidnapping, assault, looting and torching houses, forcing Hindus to convert to Islam or leave the country.

On July 21, trial against four charges were completed but the tribunal kept the verdict waiting.
