The President has appointed two judges of the High Court Division to the Appellate Division.

The two judges are Justice Tariq ul Hakim and Justice Obaidul Hassan.

Their appointments were confirmed by a special notification issued by the law ministry in this regard on Wednesday.

As a result of the appointment of these two judges, the number of judges in the Appellate Division now stands at eight.
